Nithya Menen’s short film “Color Of a Nation” follows the tale of a man searching for his family amid the Calcutta Riots of 1946. The short film is directed by debutant Raja Valluru.
The film was the proud recipient of Independent Shorts Awards 2020 – Official Winner, Short to the Point official selection, Official Selection ARFF Berlin International Awards 2020, Official Selection Accolade Global Film Competition 2020, Official Selection Indie Short Fest 2020.
Director Raja Valluru commented on Nithya’s post saying, “Thank you nithhu!! Thank you for believing in it!!”

Her fans eagerly awaits Nithya Menen web series Breath into the Shadows. The Amazon Prime web series marks Nithya’s OTT debut. The web series is also a debut for her co-star Abhishek Bachchan. The web series is a tale of Avinash and Abha Sabharwal (Bachchan and Menen) and their struggle to find their missing daughter Siya. The show also feaures Amit Sadh, Saiyami Kher, Plabita Borthakur, and Hrishikesh Joshi. Breathe into the Shadows will premiere on Amazon Prime on the 10th of July 2020.
