The lyrics echo melancholy throughout, with IU expressing, “Dearest, Darling, My Universe, would you take me along? To a place where I can’t dream with my poor imagination.”

Director Um Tae Hwa sheds light on the symbolism within the video, explaining that the cube, known as Nemo, represents discrimination against the main characters and serves as a metaphor for various forms of oppression in daily life.
