The torrent website Tamilrockers is hugely popular amongst south Indian movie fans. It is a local version of the internationally infamous Pirate Bay from where one can download movies that include Indian movies fro the south and other languages for free or via a torrent client.
The site makes no exception to piracy, it has over the years released full version of several popular Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and other language films, which are uploaded on the site as soon as the movies gets released on screen some even before.
Though the Tamilrockers URL is blocked by the government, Tamilrockers seem to found ways to keep its website alive, and can be easily accessed by proxy servers.
