September 2026: Fatima Sana Shaikh has used her appearance on Bigg Boss 20 to acknowledge Salman Khan’s recent comments on online trolling, telling the superstar that his decision to address the issue publicly can have a wider impact.
Fatima is set to appear on the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode to promote her web series Hunkkaar: The Roar. During the episode, she brings up Salman’s remarks from the previous weekend, when the actor-host spoke at length about the kind of abuse celebrities are subjected to on social media.
In the promo, Fatima Sana Shaikh tells Salman Khan that she wanted to speak about the way he responded to the trolls. She points out that comments from someone with his stature can reach an audience far beyond the immediate conversation.

“The way you have responded to the trolls this time is a huge thing,” Fatima says. She adds that when someone in Salman’s position chooses to speak about an issue and take a stand, it can influence how people look at the subject.
Her comments come after Salman turned the spotlight on trolling during the previous Weekend Ka Vaar. The actor addressed remarks about his appearance, age and personal life, even removing his shirt and hat while talking about the comments surrounding his looks and hair. He also clarified that his hairstyle was part of his appearance for an upcoming film.
The discussion soon moved beyond Salman himself. He questioned the practice of targeting people online for entertainment or financial gain and spoke against body-shaming and age-shaming.
Salman also touched upon the scrutiny faced by women after childbirth. Without naming Katrina Kaif, who had recently been subjected to comments about her postpartum appearance, he said gaining weight after having a baby is a normal part of the process and that women can work on it when they are ready to return to their careers.
The actor also directed his criticism towards paparazzi culture, objecting to the way women are sometimes filmed and photographed. He said his own family had faced similar situations and urged photographers and content creators not to circulate inappropriate footage simply to generate views.
Fatima Sana Shaikh’s remarks on the upcoming episode come against that backdrop, with the actor recognising the attention Salman’s comments have received and the reach that his words carry.
