Goodnewwz has certainly met the expectation of movie fans. It is lovable and completely a goodness movie.
Some of the finest things about the film is the star cast. The Batras- Kareena Kapoor Khan has done an amazing performance, as she does always. Spot on. Akshay Kumar also delivered brilliant performance, with an impeccable comedy timing and his delivery of dialogue which carry double meaning.
Kiara Advani ’s has been very cute too, as she got some great dialogues to show her competencey. Overall the, Goodnewwz excelled in all quarters including Dialogues for each of the character which are great.
The story: Goodnewwz is a story of a couple trying to have a baby, but are unable to conceive naturally, they decide to go for an IVF (in-vitro fertilization) procedure. But a mix up by their doctor leads to much confusion, laughter, fun and comic moments.
Backed by brilliant performances by Kareena Kapoor Khan as the sophisticated Deepti, and her character’s emotional quotient is perfectly carved, and suited for her talent. Akshay Kumar with his comic timing stands out.
Diljit Dosanjh, has also deep dived into his character and plays it with total commitment. Kiara Advani is played her role too with absolute honesty and is certainly impressive. At the core of all confusion is Adil Hussain as the doctor.
While the narrative had some rough edges and the jokes slightly away from the context, the movie has turned out to be a good entertainer to watch. Go watch in theaters near you.
