Bollywood’s most awaited 2020 Film Deepika Padukone film Chhapaak somehow, leaves you a feeling of being in between, a documentary or a massey film. And, the pre-movie release drama had certainly added the watch quotient even more.

Deepika padukone though delivers her might enacting the real story of Laxmi Aggarwal the acid victim highlighting the pain, heart wrenching and a very disturbing saga of continued violence against women, the movie makes you feel it is more like a documentary turned into a social awareness movie.

Chhapaak is a story of a nineteen-year-old girl subjected to a horrific acid attack. Her grit and endurance to fight for justice and reclaim her life.

The scenes between Deepika and Vikrant enjoyable, well-crafted and the duo has performed naturally. Vikrant indeed complimented Deepika well.

Deepika Padukone is the soul of the film, delivering a brilliant, immersive performance. In fact, there are many scenes where her act will move you to tears.

The jaw-dropping moment in the climax will leave you in awe. The story sends out a strong message and is undoubtedly a brave attempt.

The song, especially the title song is good to ears.

Whether it is a entertainer or a documentary like film the days to come will tell. Go watch it in theatres.
