Malang Movie Review: Unleashing Too Much Madness, that is the review in short by us.
The multi-starrer thrilling love story Malang, does unleash too much of madness. The audience is welcomed with a Big action, and then followed by a series of Big Drama.
Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu did their best to make the madness enjoyable. While we would have wanted the 1st half to be as exciting as the 2nd half , it disappoint on that front.
Anil Kapoor chips in with an exciting, layered character and did what he is best known for – versatility.
What makes the movie worthy of watching is the love and emotional quotient between the lead actors Aditya Roy Kapoor and Disha Patni. The songs are really heart touching.
The story:
The lead characters in the film Advait (Roy Kapoor) and Sara’s (Disha Patani) the glam doll get to meet each other in a beach side amidst a celebration of fireworks. The movie is all about their life and the choice they make – which is fun or peace.
Then there is another madness in the movie, it is a police officer taking the law into his hands. A merry drug snorting cop and but out of control, Agashe (Anil Kapoor) and upright Michael Rodrigues (Kunal Kemmu), the head of the Special Cell. Trying to unfold a murder mystery.
Aditya Roy Kapoor as muscled, angry young man is on a killing spree, targeting members of the Goa police. He kills his victims with effortlessness, then there are 2 police officer Agashe (Anil Kapoor) and his more upright colleague Michael (Kunal Kemmu) trying their best to solve the motives behind the killing.
A whole lot of time in narrating the story; than unraveling the mystery and giving adequate padding to all the characters.
The climax is compelling. Go watch it if you love Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor and want to listen to some good music in theaters.
