Angrezi Medium Movie Review: Irrfan’s Most Heart Touching Film
When you sit through, Irrfan’s Angrezi Medium, it makes you experience many emotions, it makes you cry, it makes you laugh and in many times make you do both.
It is one of the most heart touching films in Indian Cinema in recent times.
@irrfank is spectacular, and he proves again , he is the most natural actor u will find in the art of cinema and movie kingdom @radhikamadan01 very also lent credible support, and her performance is commendable. Kareena also is exceptional as always, there is a surprise song which got released. It’s a must watch
Check out a song from the movie which features Kareena Kapoor Khan, titled Laadki – presumable a beautifullymade hindi remake of gujarati song. The song goes like this….”Maari Laadki Thane, Khaama Ghani!
Story: The movie revolves around Champak Bansal (Irrfan) a simple, small-town businessman – one of the owner’s of Ghasitaram sweet shop chain – who’s leading a comfortable life with his teenage daughter, Tarika (Radhika Madan). The two share an winsome, congenial relationship.
But, Tarika has big aspirations– going to London and graduating from one of the best universities there. The challenges, and struggle the father has to go through with limited resources, to fulfill his daughters dream is the crux of the story. Will he or will he not?
‘Angrezi Medium’ highlights aspiration, and dreams of the young generation’s obsession with pursuing further studies outside India, and their family’s grit to grace and overcome every most challenging obstacles for their beloved children.
The comedy-drama is engaging in the first half, but the second half is not as powerful as the first half. But Irrfan’s exceptional performance makes it worth the watch.

One will hope the story of unconditional love between a father and daughter will rake in lot of mullah at the box office. Go watch it, in theaters. It is a good watch
