I For India Concert: Stars, Artists echoes moments of pain, joy, beauty, life, music and hope

Amitabh Pays Tribute to Rishi, Shankar Ehsan Roy, Sings Beautiful Poem and Javed Akhtar pens beautiful lines about life in lock down, walking along the silent, deafening streets.

The I For India concert opened with filmmaker Zoya Akhtar’s introductory speech followed by Akshay Kumar’s poem, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao’s song.

The most beautiful moments amidst the pain of lock down and corona outbreak was the joy of being, who you are, doing things what you love the most and hoping for a brighter stronger human race.

The song sung by Shankar Ehsan Roy was beaufitul, melodious and captured the heart of millions and their emotions at home and outside home.

Not just Bollywood, Hollywood celebrities too teamed up to contribute towards COVID-19 relief funds with ‘I For India’ campaign.

Super star Amitabh Bachchan paid tribute to his co-star and legendary Rishi Kapoor who passed away. He expressed his grief loosing one of the finest actor and also said why did not want to visit the actor in Hospital. He said he always wanted to keep his smile in his memory and not of pain.

While we would loved to hear the beautiful singer Shreya Ghosal to sing a song, she made is short and sweet by sharing a message to support Give India.

Actor Varun Dhawan with his pet also urged fans to donate. Tabla maestro  Ustad Zakir Hussain played his signature tabla with exuberance. While Vishal Bharadwaj with his wife sang a beautiful song “Na Jaiyo Na”

Actor  Farhan actor gave a live rock star like performance with his artist colleagues, taking us back to the moments of Rock On. The musical film he acted and performed.

Over 80 artists including SRK, Will Smith, Hrithik Roshan, Mick Jagger, Shreya Ghoshal joined to make the evening so memorable.
