Jyotika’s Movie Ponmagal Vandhal Full Movie Leaked by Tamilrockers
Suriya’s production Ponmagal Vandhal which began streaming in Prime Video on Thursday has been leaked by Tamilrockers according to reports online. Well, Tamilrockers made no mistake again for its notorious act, leaking the movie, which has garnered good reviews by Jyotika’s fans and people who love good movies on OTT.
The surprise was even more surprising like the climax of the movie as it is heard that Tamilrockers leaked the HD version of the movie even before it went live on streaming platform Amazon Prime.
The piracy site Tamilrockers has been playing havoc , and has been disturbing the movie makers and industry which despite efforts by the law enforcement is not able to stop them from pirating and releasing movies. That too, a few hours ahead of its world premiere on Amazon Prime. The report added that Ponmagal Vandhal’s HD version was on the piracy website which is a matter of worry for the makers.
Ponmagal Vandhal, in which s Jyotika debut’s in the role of a lawyer, and a movie based on child rape and abuse, and all about a courtroom battle to expose the social and legal system, is the first mainstream Tamil film to have a direct OTT release, before getting a release in theaters. This was due to the fact that theaters are shut due to lock down and the corona virus pandemic.
Directed by debutant JJ Fredrick, Ponmagal Vandhal which stars Jyotika and Parthiban in is the story of an honest lawyer’s attempts to redeem a wrongfully convicted woman.
The film, which is produced by actor Suriya, also stars K Bhagyaraj, R Parthiepan, Pandiarajan and Pratap Pothen in pivotal roles.
Earlier, the decision to release Pon Magal Vandhal directly on Amazon Prime, has upset theatre owners in Tamil Nadu . Despite the challenge and opposition from theatre owners the makers of the film went ahead and release directly on OTT.
