Sonu Sood good Samaritan act inspires Amitabh, Swara Bhaskar ; Sonu Sood has been in the news for the tremendous amount of good work he has been doing during the covid 19 crisis. He has been playing the good Samaritan helping people from all walks of life for whatever support using his resources.
He has also been hailed as a hero of a different kind for his noble work.
Now his work hasn’t gone unnoticed and it seem to have inspired many bollywood actors and those who are doing much more are Amitabh Bachchan who we hear has been helping the Uttar Pradesh migrant workers to go back to their home town arranging transportation for them.
Moved by the plight of migrants, superstar Amitabh Bachchan has organised 10 buses for Uttar Pradesh. The buses left from the Haji Ali dargah and Mahim dargah
The buses have been provided with food and snacks for the entire journey with water, juices. The medical kits are also being provided to the migrants in case they may need it in their journey. Hand sanitizer, masks are also being provided.
Swara Bhaskar too joined the good role of helping people by doing the same thing what Amitabh Bachchan did by helping migrant workers.
According to a reports Swara helped to facilitate the return of 1350 workers to their homes in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress and her team collected the date of the people, who wanted to go back to their hometown. She arranged train tickets for the workers with the help of Delhi government.
In a recent post Swara and her team shared their work to help people affected by the COVID 19. Sharing the above post she wrote The ongoing migrant crisis has been the most severe human impact story of our time – Lakhs of our migrant brothers and sisters have been forced into destitution and hardship as a result of the Corona pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.
They have had to walk hundreds of kilometres, often without slippers or shoes just to reach their homes. She distributed 500 pairs of shoes in Delhi along with the on-ground volunteers of Karwan-E-Mohabbat, towards migrant relief. We feel privileged and happy to make a small contribution towards the alleviation of the hardship of our fellow citizens.
Migrant workers are the most affected during the crisis, as they have lost jobs and not being to able to stay in the city they work. When they decided to get back to their home town they were left stranded, or were found walking miles to go home.
