Katrina Kaif Up, up, and away…Fans thrilled : This is what we hear when the Superman movie is played very often. The power and the magic of the character that has entertained fans for several decades. Now we hear bollywood will have Katrina Kaif play the role of superman in Ali Abbas Zaffars next.
This is probably made the greatest impact in the minds of Katrina Kaif fans when their idol was named as the next lead actor for Ali Abbas Zaffar’s next super hero movie. Making the announcement Ali Abbas said “My next is a superhero film with Katrina. Recently, I locked that script and it will go on the floors once the lockdown ends. I have completed the first draft of another film as well, and hopefully that script will be ready soon.”
katrina had proved her talent in Ali Abbas Zaffar , Salman Khan movie Tiger Zinda Hai playing a tough character with great ease and elan. Looks like she really impressed the director very much and no wonder he signed her for his next super hero movie.
Her entry in the movie Tiger Zinda Hai was quite stellar as she makes an entry in the film by slaying a group of armed goons who were trying to rob a departmental store.
The film maker added “There’s a lot of prep required because of the kind of action involved and I am in touch with an international team over video calls. I’m also doing script readings with my actors and chatting with the production designer. There’s a lot happening.”
Once the lockdown is lifted the Ali Abbas and Katrina Kaif will begin the preparatory work for the movie and will get into accelerate the making of the film.
Katrina, will be seen in Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay Kumar. The film is the fourth installation of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. The film also features Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh. Gulshan Grover, Jaaved Jaaferi, Jackie Shroff among others play pivotal roles.
Katrina Kaif has also filmed a shoot with south indian actress Nayantara ( known as the lady super star in south), after wrapping up the shoot said, “I found Nayanthara very stunning as well as I find her very strong. She comes across as a fighter. And there’s also something in her.. in her way of work..she’s been working from a very young age and she’s very meticulous. She knows her work and she is very particular. I kind of resonated with that.”
Nayanthara was last seen in Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Darbar’ that released in January this year, she is also part of Rajinikanth film titled ‘Annaatthe’, which is in the making. She will also be seen in Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha in ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’
While Katrina Kaif Sooryavanshi was supposed to release on March 24, 2020 it was postponed indefinitely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
