Bollywood in Loss of words as Dabangg Wajid Khan Passes Away ; He was one of the most popular musician Salman Khan collaborated in many of his movies including the block buster Dabangg and the sequels.

The Bollywood industry woke up to this sad news on Sunday, as the famed music director – singer passed away in Mumbai, he was 42. The news was confirmed by Music composer Salim Merchant on Twitter.

Wajid combined with his brother Sajid as music directors and made their debut with Salman Khan’s Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya.

The duo music composers went on to compose music for many other Salman Khan movies like Hello Brother, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Garv, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Partner, God Tussi Great Ho, Wanted, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna, Veer and Dabangg (1, 2 and 3).

Expressing grief about the untimely death of Wajid , music Composer Salim Merchant wrote, “Devastated with the news of the passing away of my brother Wajid of Sajid -Wajid fame. May Allah give strength to the family. Safe travels bro Wajid Khan you’ve gone too soon. It’s a huge loss to our fraternity. I’m shocked & broken. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.”

Wajid was also involved in Salman Khan‘s recent song Bhai Bhai  listen to the song

 

Celebrities and many stars from the industries poured in their condolences messages. Here are the few top celebs who expressed grief and extended their condolence messages to the family of Wajid.

Akshay Kumar mourned the “untimely demise” of Wajid Khan. “Shocked and saddened to hear about the untimely demise of #WajidKhan, talented and ever-smiling…gone too soon. May God give strength to his family in this difficult time,” the actor said via Twitter.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas posted a tweet expressing her disbelief over the sad demise of the noted composer. “Terrible news. The one thing I will always remember is Wajid bhai’s laugh. Always smiling. Gone too soon. My condolences to his family and everyone grieving. Rest in peace my friend. You are in my thoughts and prayers.”

Karan Johar mourned Wajid Khan’s demise. He took to Twitter and expressed, “your music will always live on…deepest condolences to the family and loved ones ….gone too soon….”

In a message Anupam Kher shocked to hear Wajid Khan’s demise, tweeted, “Deeply shocked & saddened by the untimely demise of greatly talented  #WajidKhan of the #SajidWajid team. I had met him at few occasions. He was very humble, courteous and always smiling. May God give his family the courage to deal with this loss. Will pray to almighty.”

In his message Abhishek Bachchan wrote. “Rest in harmony my friend. Had the pleasure of working with both Sajid-Wajid most loving and brilliant. My condolences to his family and especially Sajid,” the actor tweeted.

Adnan Sami posted a picture with Wajid Khan on Twitter and wrote, ‘I’m shocked!! I’ve lost a dear brother Wajid! I can’t come to grips with this tragic news… He was such a beautiful soul…May Allah SWT bless him in Jannat-ul-Firdaus…Ameen.’

“Deeply saddened & shocked by the passing away of a wonderful musical maestro @wajidkhan7 – rest in glory my friend. Tollywood music composer Devi Sri Prasad is “shocked & deeply saddened by the news of the sudden demise of Wajid Khan.” He wrote, “Gone too soon 🙁 May his Soul Rest in Peace. My heartfelt condolences to his family. May God give strength to the family.”
