Jayraj Fenix Case ;Karthi, Kajal, Tiger Shroff, Taapsee Condemn Police Brutality, Calls for Justice :After the social media outcry about Police Brutality on Jayaraj and Felix, the Kollywood celebrities took to social media to support Jayaraj , Fenix family and shared their voice that the police brutality was uncalled for, inhuman and called for Justice for the family.
The outcry began when 58 year old Jayaraj & 31 year old Emmanuel Benicks were brutally murdered in police custody: beaten to death. What is even more startling is that the state of Tamil Nadu leads the nation in custodial deaths, and such atrocity is a moment of reckoning for us to understand state terror, that surround us.

Then Kajal took to social media again and shared a video which is intended to non-tamil speaking people to understand the story behind police atrocity. Listen to the video of Singer Suchitra. This were among the Hundreds of thousands of tweets sent out using the hashtag #JusticeforJayarajandBennix, that was among the top Twitter topics trending in India on Friday and among the top 30 trending globally, with celebrities, sportspersons and politicians condemning the police action.

Actor Karthi in his tweet expressed grief and wrote: This painful incident and the trauma Mr.Jayaraj’s family is going through will be in our conscience and haunt us for a long time. The way this case is going to be handled will demonstrate if it’s the fault of a few individuals or of the whole system! #JusticeforJayarajAndFenix

It is very unfortunate , and it shows the darker side of some of the policeman who do not consider human and humans. While there are a number of good policemen who show kindness and follow the rule book, there are some who break the rule book and create fear.
Following Tiger Shroff was Disha Patni who shared another post in which she expressed her strong views about police in humanness.
Our sympathies and condolences to the family of Jayraj and Fenix, and we hope the Government will set the record straight by bringing justice for the family.
