Priyanka in a recent interview revealed that while they may make for the perfect couple according to many but there was a time that the concept of marriage itself was ‘alien’ to the former Miss World. In a new interview, Priyanka has spoken about how she had all but given up on marriage in her 20s.

Priyanka married singer-actor Nick Jonas in 2018. The wedding took place at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhavan Palace. The lavish wedding came after a whirlwind romance. When asked how do you find the right person, Priyanka said, “You have got to stop looking, that is how it worked.”
In the same interview, Priyanka spoke about yet another aspect of her personality that she in now comfortable with. “I’m very ambitious. When I was first growing up, I thought that that was seen as not really a good thing when a woman was too ambitious. And slowly over time, I realized that was my strength,” she said.

Seems like another lifetime now… back when it all started and I fell in love with the movies. Being in Indian movies was like entering a magical world.. I went in blind, with no idea what to expect and no formal training. It’s been a rollercoaster ride of challenges and milestones with so much I’ve learned since and so many incredible people I met along the way. I’d like to thank everyone who took a chance on me at the beginning. These 3 movies set me up on a trajectory I would never have expected.

A while ago she also posted her nostalgic moments about her film Fashion. She wrote
It was 2008. I was just about 5 years into my acting career and had already seen extreme highs and extreme lows in it. I was told taking on this movie could be a risk. But working with the brilliant Madhur Bhandarkar and his incredible team of writers, Ajay Monga, Niranjan Iyengar and Anuraadha Tewari, for almost 6 months before we even started the movie, was one of the most collaborative experiences of my life.
Then on set, bringing life into all the various shades of my character Meghna Mathur, was one of my first truly immersive acting jobs. Thank you to the incredible cast that made everything I did much better. Thank you to the amazing technicians and crew, who through all the craziness, always brought it home.
And most importantly, thank you to the audience who went to theatres to watch what was then billed as a ‘female-centric’ movie and made it a huge success which in turn helped showcase that women could hold their own at the box office. #Jalwa
