July 15, 2024: Actor Aman Preet Singh, brother of popular Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh, has been apprehended by Hyderabad police in connection with a big drug bust. The arrest follows a coordinated operation conducted jointly by the Narcotics Bureau and Rajendra Nagar SOT Police under Cyberabad Police’s jurisdiction.

During a press conference held on Monday in Hyderabad, authorities disclosed that Aman Preet Singh was among several individuals detained in connection with drug trafficking. While five people were arrested for peddling narcotics, Aman’s name surfaced on a list of 13 individuals who allegedly consumed drugs and tested positive. He is set to be presented before the court soon for further legal proceedings.

Police officials refrained from divulging specific details about Aman Preet‘s associations with other suspects pending further investigation. They revealed that Aman had tested positive for cocaine during a urine test, confirming his involvement. Although he is acknowledged as an actor, authorities did not specify whether his acting career was in Tollywood or elsewhere.

Drug Bust Reveals Shocking Details about Actor Aman Preet Involvement

This development comes in the wake of ongoing scrutiny involving Rakul Preet Singh, who was previously summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a separate money laundering investigation linked to a drugs case. Addressing queries regarding the actress, police clarified that she is not under investigation related to Aman’s arrest and urged against unnecessary speculation.

In a significant seizure linked to the case, law enforcement recovered 199 grams of cocaine, along with two passports, two motorcycles, and ten mobile phones. Among the apprehended suspects are Onuoha Blessing, Azeez Nohaam Adeshola, Alla Satya Venkata Gowtham, Sanaboina Varun Kumar, and Mohd Mahaboob Shareef, identified as accused drug peddlers. However, suspects Divine Ebuka Suzee and Ezeonyili Franklin Uchenna remain at large.

Highlighting the severity of drug abuse in Hyderabad, police condemned the actions of wealthy individuals who perpetuate a dangerous drug culture. Out of the identified 13 drug consumers, five have been arrested after testing positive for cocaine in urine samples.
