Actor Vikram who was hospitalised, did not suffer a heart attack, but rumor mongers had a hay day. The news reports claims are not correct, this was clarified by the actor’s Manager. He wrote .“Chiyaan Vikram had mild chest discomfort and is being treated for the same. He DID NOT have a heart attack as reports falsely claim. We are pained to hear rumours to this effect.” Vikram is fine and will return home for rest. However, he will miss the teaser launch of Ponniyin Selvan today.

The Kauvery hospital in Chennai is yet to share any details on the actor’s health. Some people familiar with the situation have informed news agencies that actor is stable.
Controversy also emerged regarding the actors health, wherein local Tamil news media retracted the heart attack news and said that the actor was admitted to the hospital owing to high fever.
