Adipurush Writer backlash continues – We Never forget Never forgive!, Hypocrisy, were some of the strong responses twitter users gave in reply to Manoj Mutashir’ twitter apology about the dialogues in Adipurush. In a surprising turn of events, dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla finds himself issuing an apology after the release of the blockbuster film ‘Adipurush’.
The movie, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, faced a wave of backlash over its dialogues, which hurt the sentiments of the audience. Threats and hate messages directed at Muntashir forced the film’s makers to revise certain lines.
Taking to social media, Adipurush Manoj Muntashir tweeted, “I accept people’s emotions have been hurt by Adipurush. With folded hands, I extend my unconditional apologies. May Prabhu Bajrang Bali keep us united and grant us strength to serve our sacred Sanatan and our great nation.”
‘Adipurush’, written and directed by Om Raut, features Prabhas as Raghav (Ram), Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita), and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Raavan). However, the film received criticism across the country for its ‘tapori’ dialogues, lackluster VFX, and uninteresting screenplay.
Despite the initial box office success in its first three days, the film suffered a significant setback due to negative reviews and the impact of flawed VFX and dialogues on its overall business.
Previously, in an interview with AajTak, Muntashir attempted to defend the controversial dialogues of ‘Adipurush’. He argued that Bajrangbali or Lord Hanuman is not considered a god but earned that status through the power of his devotion to Lord Ram.
“Bajrangbali bhagwaan nahi hai, bhakt hai. Humne unko bhagwaan banaya hai kyuki unki bhakti mein woh power tha,” he stated.
Adipurush Writer Muntashir also took to Twitter, assuring the audience that he and the film’s producer-director have decided to revise the dialogues causing distress. He emphasized that he understood the pain and would make necessary adjustments.
However, in his heartfelt statement, Muntashir urged viewers not to hastily label him as a “Sanatan drohi” (traitor to the faith). He acknowledged that in a three-hour film, there may be moments that differ from individual imaginations, but he aims to bridge the gap and address concerns.
As ‘Adipurush’ undergoes revisions, only time will tell if these changes can appease the disappointed fans and restore the film’s reputation.

I was your fan but unfollowed you the moment you said Hanuman Ji is not Bhagwan but just a Bhakt.
Deleted your all songs from my library and unsubscribed you on YouTube too.
You hurt our sentiments with your choice of words. You know the power of words , you used it to win hearts with award winning lyrics and dialogues. But you used the words in such manner you hurt sentiments. Tooo sad behaviour from you
