Aswathama Movie Review: It’s all about Shaurya’s Shaurya – this is the one line review. As the movie based on true events races to the end with action sequences, with a weak climax.

Directed by Ramana Teja, Aswathama is an edge-of-the-seat action thriller, what it lacked was right twists and a good climax to leave the audience wanting for more.

Story: Ganaa (Shaurya),  returns to India for his sister’s engagement. Soon he finds out that his sister is in deep trouble, what follows is how becomes the brave heart and chases down the lanes, to find his sister and help her escape from the clutches of the culprits who are responsible for his sisters trouble.

The story is of a crusader Ganaa who not only saves his sister but also unravel the mystery why several young women have been disappearing for no reason, and why, when they wake up, they find themselves in a hospital.

Sargun Kaur, as Shaurya’s sister, is a good discovery and she has done justfication to her role as Shaurya’s sister.  Mehreen, also plays her party with honesty.

While the movie builds tremendous amount of suspense in the beginning the end let’s it down as the unfolding of the suspense is not one anticipates sitting through the movie.

Nevertheless, it is a good attempt. Go watch it if you like action thrillers.
