“Baba, Baba, Baba” – Laal Kaptaan movie review

HomeMovie Review“Baba, Baba, Baba” - Laal Kaptaan movie review

This movie had not much to offer for entertainment except heavily accessorised look — beads, rudraksh, chains, dreadlocks with the Shiva bun, a bandana, tilak, kholed eyes, a chillam and pointy jackboots.

Laal Kaptaan Saif Ali Khan’s movie is a story of a lone warrior, played with intensity ,in pursuit of his revenge.  You get to see Bundelkhand turn with blood strewn around.  So many deaths and bodies in the  2 hrs 30 minutes film, that you will forget the numbers after a while.

Barring the techno brilliance is on display, Saif tried hard to keep the movie engaging whenever he is on the screen.  But these are small mercies in this outlandish endeavour.

‘Kaptaan’ is not a box-office killer, it really turned out to be a low ebb movie from the ace actor. It is difficult to understand why established star choose to play in movies that let them down in front of their fans.

This movie only for fans, who just want to watch their hero.
