Tuesday, April 21, 2026: Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya is set to return to the director’s chair with his next feature, Yeh Prem Mol Liya, which will hit theaters on November 27, 2026. The announcement came Tuesday via Rajshri Productions’ official Instagram handle, confirming a collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films for this upcoming family entertainer.
The project stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari in their first-ever onscreen pairing. This film marks Barjatya’s first directorial effort in four years, following his 2022 drama Uunchai, which earned him the National Award for Best Director. While Uunchai focused on a story of friendship among seniors, Yeh Prem Mol Liya is expected to return to the wholesome family-centric themes that defined Barjatya’s earlier career milestones like Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! and Vivaah.
Sharvari Elated To Star in Barjatya’s New Family Drama ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’
Music will play a central role in the production, as the film reunites Barjatya with composer Himesh Reshammiya. The two last worked together on the 2014 hit Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Following the announcement, Sharvari expressed her enthusiasm for the project on social media, describing the opportunity to work with Barjatya as a dream come true and noting that the filming process has been filled with positivity.
Both lead actors maintain busy schedules leading up to the November release. Ayushmann Khurrana will first appear in the comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh Do this May. Sharvari is also set for a high-profile year, with Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga releasing in June and the YRF Spy Universe film Alpha scheduled for July.
