Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police arrested a Bollywood film producer for allegedly duping over 100 people of at least Rs 6 crore after luring them with the promise of high returns on investments in the entertainment business.
According to the police, the accused, identified as Chandrakanth Sharma, lured the investors by promising returns of over 70 per cent on weekly basis on investments made in projects under the CineMirchi Productions. Joint CP (EOW) OP Mishra said that the accused and his wife attracted the investors by getting their photographs clicked with known Bollywood personalities and doing big publicity campaigns. The couple has produced two movies- “Lust Wala Love” and “The Great Indian Casino”. However, their releases are still pending.
Actor Ravi Dubey says it is not easy for television actors to make it big in Bollywood.
Expressing his views , Dubey said It’s not easy, because there are times certain myopic viewpoints and preconceived notions come into play. “But these notions will soon evaporate.”
He also added the entertainment industry need repair. Talking about the entertainment industry and how it has impacted him, he stated, the entertainment industry has made us whatever we are. It’s a great industry but the system needs repair. We have all at some point of time or the other been at the receiving end. It is time for a change in perspective, but I do feel we are at a point of a huge metamorphosis.
Ranveer Singh Turns Producer Finally
According to latest information available we have learnt the talented actor Ranveer has changed his mind and has finally donned the producer’s hat. Ranveer quietly registered his production house way back on December 28, 2017 along with his mother, Anju Bhavnani. And the name of the production house is quite filmy and suits Ranveer to the T – Maa Kasam Films!
Ranveer Singh earlier established IncInk along with Navzar Eranee to back independent music. He also has a joint venture with Deepika Padukone, a company called Chalk And Cheese Enterprises, established in 2019. Deepika production house called KA Productions was the producer of Chhapaak (2020).

The actor also shared greetings to his fans on the account of Rakshan Bhandan. He shared a post saying: Happy Raksha Bandhan .. be the festival of protection & security for the sister by the brother .. a pledge to be by her side, to hold her hand in times of trouble , to safeguard her from all evil to let her know that no matter what he shall ever be by her side.
Meanwhile his son Abhishek Bachchan continue to remain in the Hospital. In a tweet Abhishek wrote : I, Unfortunately due to some comorbidities remain Covid-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted. I’ll beat this and come back healthier! Promise
