Dhanush will be seen in three different roles in his upcoming movie titled as Captain Miller, the first look has sent his fans into frenzy and has already set the expectations high. Among those who is awed by the look is Karan Johar who called it as ‘Epic’. It has already crossed over 5 Million digital views since its release.
The first look of the film released recently, presents Dhanush in three avatars, riding a motorcycle, holding a rifle, and Dhanush face is covered by a mask.
Dhanush shared the video announcing the film, and captioned it, “Captain miller… This is going to be so exciting. Super kicked to work with @ArunMatheswaran and my brother @gvprakash @SathyaJyothi.” The video has already crossed 5.5 million views in a span of 24 hours.

Bollywood director Karan Johar, who watched the video, seems to be quite impressed by the same and wished the entire team. He added that the film was going to be epic. He wrote on his social media page, “This is going to be EPIC!! Congratulations @dhanushkraja and to the entire team of this potential cinematic marvel #CaptainMiller @ArunMatheswaran @SathyaJyothi @gvprakash.”
Captain Miller has GV Prakash Kumar composing the music, Madhan Karky penning the dialogues, Shreyaas Krishna handling the cinematography, Nagooran handling the editing, Dhilip Subbarayan in charge of stunt choreography and Tha Ramalingam handling the production design. The film, which is set to have a pan-India release is to hit screens in 2023.

Speculations are rife that Priyanka Arul Mohan will be playing the leading lady in the film. However, the official announcement of the cast and crew of the film is yet to be made. Bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films, Captain Miller will be set in the Madras Presidency of the 1930s and 40s.
Dhanush is also eagerly awaiting the release of Thiruchitramablam , Naane Varuven and his Hollywood outing, The Gray Man. He is currently shooting for Vaathi, a biligual directed by Venky Atluri.
