Action-packed film ‘Fighter’, which received positive reviews from the audience in in theaters, has now made its debut on the OTT platform. Starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, among others, the movie promises an engaging experience from the comfort of home. Produced by Marflix and Viacom 18 Studios, this film was released on the eve of Republic Day 2024.
Produced with a substantial budget of ₹250 crore, the action film “Fighter” exceeded expectations. According to Sacnilk, it earned ₹254.83 crore domestically and an additional ₹104 crore overseas, totaling a successful ₹358.83 crore worldwide.
Earlier yesterday, Hrithik Roshan teased fans with a glimpse of ‘Fighter‘ on his social media, announcing its release on Netflix India at midnight.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, known for his work in ‘Pathaan’, ‘Fighter’ pays homage to the courage and sacrifice of the Indian armed forces. Presented by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures, the film aims to honor military valor with its compelling narrative.
The storyline revolves around the Air Dragons, a newly formed elite unit tasked with countering militant activities in the Srinagar Valley, as per the official synopsis.
In an interview with a news agency earlier this year, Hrithik Roshan shared his experience of wearing the military uniform for ‘Fighter‘, expressing the sense of responsibility and strength it evoked, similar to his previous roles in ‘Krrish’ and ‘Lakshya’.
