After tasting success in Mahanati, the actor is back playing the role of fun-loving Lieutenant Raghuram in Sita Ramam.

In a recent public appearance, thousands of young girls swooned over him, whistled for him, and were ecstatic when Dulquer made an entry to promote his forthcoming movie ‘Sita Ramam’ where he plays the role of Lt. Ram. He was also in awe when the teens wrote over 1000 handwritten letters addressing him as Dear Ram, which was purely romantic and stamped his adorability amongst the youth

The movie presented by the Vyjayanthi Movies with over 5 decades of experience, under the banner  Swapna Cinema, and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi is the new buzzword the entertainment circles now, and the most anticipated love story set in the backdrop of a war era. It has been shot extensively in exotic locales in Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, and its songs are the new rage in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.

The songs ‘Oh Sita’, ‘Inthadham’, and Kaanunna Kalyanam’ is among the most listened to songs since it was released.

The movie stars Dulquer, Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandana, Tharun Bhascker, and Sumanth.

The team of Sita Ramam shot in Thajwass Glacier, Dal Lake, Jalali House, Rockstar house and in many other locales in Kashmir. Speaking about the experience, Dulquer Salmaan had said, “It’s like stepping into a photograph or a painting or a film. It’s hard to take in the depth and beauty of Kashmir with your eyes and believe you are witnessing it in person. It’s that awe inspiring. In a heartbeat. I would love to visit Gulmarg and Pahalgam.

Director Hanu Raghavapudi said, “Kashmir is definitely the Paradise on Earth and have been the best hosts. The local people were friendly, gentle, helping and welcoming. We shot during the beginning of the 2nd phase lockdown with covid restrictions, yet the police and government allowed us to complete the shoot as per the plan with covid protocols in place. We finished our shoot schedule as per our exact plan. We even got the chance to indulge in some local food and experience a new culture.”

The team includes cinematographer P S Vinod and music director Vishal Chandrashekhar. The film also stars Sumanth, director Gautham Menon, Prakash Raj, director Tharun Bhascker, Bhoomika Chawla, dancer Rukmini Vijay Kumar, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma and Vennela Kishore.

The movie will arrive in theatres on August 5, 2022.
