Popular Tamil comic actor R Mayilsamy, fondly known as Mayilsamy, passed away on Sunday morning, February 19, due to ill health. The veteran actor had completed dubbing for his upcoming film Glassmate just yesterday.
Mayilsamy, who had worked in over 200 movies during his 39-year career, was widely known for his impeccable comic timing and had earned the title of “scene-stealer”. His demise has left fans and colleagues in the Tamil film industry saddened.
