Goldy Brar, a fugitive gangster based in Canada, has recently issued a death threat to renowned Bollywood actor Salman Khan, declaring him as “our target.” In an exclusive interview with India Today, Brar claimed that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi would consider showing mercy if Khan were to apologize. Brar stated, “We will kill him, we will definitely kill him. Bhai saheb (Lawrence) had stated that he wouldn’t apologize. Baba will show mercy only when he feels merciful,” as quoted by the news channel.
Salman Khan, famous for his role in the film “Dabangg,” topped the list of ten primary targets marked for elimination by incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, according to a report from PTI, based on his testimony to the National Investigation Agency.
The notorious criminal’s vendetta against Salman Khan stems from an incident in 1998 when the actor killed a blackbuck, an animal considered sacred by the Bishnoi community. As Khan’s actions deeply hurt the sentiments of the community, Bishnoi seeks to avenge the act by targeting the actor.
Salman Khan is the next hit target of Gangster Goldy Brar
Brar emphasized, “Like we have said earlier, it’s not just about Salman Khan. We will continue our attempts against all our enemies as long as we’re alive. Salman Khan is our target, there’s no doubt about that. We’ll keep trying, and when we succeed, you’ll know.”
In December of last year, Bishnoi confessed to the NIA that his associate, Sampat Nehra, conducted surveillance on Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence as per his instructions. However, Nehra was apprehended by the Special Task Force of the Haryana Police. Following a threatening letter from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Khan has been provided Y+ category security by the Mumbai police. Bishnoi, currently serving time in Tihar Jail in the national capital, also admitted to procuring two ‘zigana’ semi-automatic pistols from America through Goldy Brar for the infamous Gogi gang in 2021.
The Mumbai Police have additionally filed a case against imprisoned gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar, and Rohit Garg for allegedly sending threatening emails to Salman Khan’s office. The Bandra Police have registered a case under sections 506(2), 120(b), and 34 of the IPC. Meanwhile, Bishnoi revealed in his confession that, aside from Salman Khan, he was also targeting Shagunpreet, the manager of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu MooseWala.
