MyGov and the Ministry of Culture has launched a one-of-a-kind singing talent hunt to discover India’s next big singing sensation – YUVA PRATIBHA! This contest is a fantastic opportunity for young, talented singers to showcase their vocal prowess and gain national recognition.
Starting from Wednesday, May 10, 2023, the contest is open to all Indian citizens. The competition’s primary objective is to identify and recognize new and young talent in various singing genres, particularly folk songs, patriotic songs, and contemporary songs.
This contest aims to promote Indian music at the grassroots level on a national scale. The initial submission for the competition will be open for a period of one and a half months. So, if you have a melodious voice and dream of becoming New India’s emerging artist, then this contest is perfect for you.
To participate in YUVA PRATIBHA, all you have to do is log in to https://innovateindia.mygov.in/ and submit your entry on the MyGov portal. Make sure that you record a video while singing and submit the entry via YouTube (Unlisted Link), Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., ensuring that the link can be accessible. Entry shall lead to disqualification automatically if the Access will not be granted.
This contest will be available in Hindi and English, and participants can submit only one entry. Top 3 Winners will be announced in the Finale, a physical event that will be held in New Delhi. The winners will receive cash prizes and trophies, with the first winner taking home a whopping INR 1,50,000/-. The top three winners will also be mentored for a period of one month with a mentorship stipend.
