June 9, 2025: In a competitive summer for Hindi cinema, Housefull 5 is seem to steadily draw attention at the box office. The fifth installment of the long-running comedy franchise, directed this time by Tarun Mansukhan, opened in theatres on June 6 and has quickly shown strong commercial momentum.

Over its opening weekend, the film has garnered nearly ₹87 crore in domestic collections, signaling continued public interest in this high-energy, ensemble-driven series.

According to early trade estimates via Sacnilk, Housefull 5 pulled in ₹32 crore on its third day (Sunday, June 8). This pushed the film’s cumulative domestic total to ₹87 crore, just shy of the ₹90 crore milestone. Sajid Nadiadwala returns as the producer under his banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film extends a franchise that began in 2010 and has consistently drawn audiences with its trademark blend of slapstick humor and extravagant set pieces.

Brief Review of Housefull 5: Familiar Formula, Still Finds Its Footing

Housefull 5 doesn’t stray far from the franchise’s established template—chaos, comedy, and a hint of mystery in a cruise. While some of the gags may feel recycled for regular viewers, the film delivers what its core audience expects: light-hearted entertainment with a star-studded lineup.
