Hrithik Tiger Shroff WAR has indeed turned out to be the biggest hit in 2019. The movie churned 300 crore plus.
In a tweet on Monday, Taran Adarsh, film trade analyst, put the total India business of War at ₹301.75 crore. Of this, the collections from the Hindi version included ₹287.90 crore. Tamil and Telugu together contributed ₹13.85 crore.
Following this tweet Taran tweeted 2 more movies that scaled the ₹300-crore mark. They included Aamir Khan-starrer PK in 2014 and Salman Khan-starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan in 2015. Both these Khans touched ₹300-crore club with Dangal and Sultan in 2016.
In 2018, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone-starrer Padmaavat and Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Sanju reached the ₹300-crore club.
So it is raining money at the box office for hindi films. YRF sure knew the right formula to set the cash ringing even now at the box office.
This surely has turned out to be the festive cracker.
