February 5, 2024: Jacob Elordi, BAFTA award nominee, and renowned for his roles in HBO’s “Euphoria” as well as the critically acclaimed film “Saltburn,” is now the focus of a police investigation in Sydney. The incident involves an alleged assault on Joshua Fox, a producer for the popular radio show “The Kyle & Jackie O Show” on KIIS FM.

According to reports by Australia’s Daily Telegraph, the confrontation unfolded at a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Fox, seeking a unique birthday gift for co-host Jackie O, approached Elordi, referencing a viral scene from “Saltburn.” The situation escalated when Elordi requested Fox to stop filming and delete the footage.

“I refuse to because I feel uncomfortable right now, and this is the only evidence,” Fox recounted on “The Kyle & Jackie O Show.” “And then Jacob Elordi kind of just flips, and he kind of pushes me against the wall, and his hands are on my throat.”

The incident occurred at the Clovelly Hotel, where Elordi had been staying. The altercation reportedly stemmed from Fox’s probing questions, leading to a heated exchange between the two parties.

In response to the incident, the New South Wales Police issued a statement confirming an ongoing investigation. The statement reads, “Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.”

“Police were told about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday 3 February 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man did not sustain any injuries. Inquiries into the incident are continuing.”

Representatives for Jacob Elordi have not provided immediate comments in response to the unfolding situation.
