Jacqueline Fernandez the ‘Ram Setu’ co-star in a role opposite to Akshay Kumar revealed that she had tested negative for COVID-19. Earlier her co star Akshay had reported that he had tested positive for Coronavirus. Reportedly 45 crew members of the film had tested positive for the novel coronavirus and the film’s shoot had been stalled.
Following this, Jacqueline took the COVID-19 test as a precautionary measure and was in isolation till the results came in negative.

A source close to the actress shares, “Jacqueline isolated herself as soon as she got the news of Akshay testing positive for Covid-19. She underwent the RT-PCR test twice to be sure, and has tested negative in both the rounds.” Nushrratt Bharrucha, who is also a part of the film, is in isolation and till her report comes in.
Interestingly, apart from ‘Ram Setu’, Akshay and Jacqueline will reunite for ‘Bachchan Pandey’. Apart from this, Jacqueline Fernandez has a long list of films in her kitty. Apart from ‘Ram Setu’, she has ‘Kick 2’ with Salman Khan, ‘Bhoot Police’ with Saif Ali Khan and ‘Cirkus’ with Ranveer Singh.

Akshay, 53, shared a statement on Sunday revealing that he had caught the virus. “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself,” he wrote. Akshay Kumar recently began filming his new project Ram Setu.
