Scheduled for its cinematic debut on April 5, 2024, this Indian venture has already sparked considerable anticipation among moviegoers.
In a recent social media post, Jr NTR unveiled the much-awaited teaser release date for “Devara.” Taking to his X (formerly known as Twitter) account, the actor revealed that the first glimpse of “Devara” would grace screens on January 8, 2024. Expressing his enthusiasm, Jr NTR conveyed, “Can’t wait for you all to experience the glimpse of #Devara on Jan 8th,” while extending New Year wishes to his fanbase.
Accompanying this announcement was a newly unveiled poster, showcasing Jr NTR standing on a boat amid the vast sea, sporting an intense demeanor clad in a black-shirt-and-pants ensemble.

“Devara” is set against coastal backdrops, under the directorial helm of Koratala Siva. Marking Janhvi Kapoor’s southern cinema debut and her maiden collaboration with Jr NTR, this Telugu extravaganza is anticipated to deliver riveting action sequences akin to the magnificence witnessed in “RRR.” Sources suggest that the film’s production is backed by a colossal budget of Rs 140 crore, with a significant portion allocated for groundbreaking visual effects.
This milestone film also marks Jr NTR’s 30th cinematic endeavor, purportedly featuring the actor essaying dual roles of father and son. Joining the stellar cast are luminaries like Saif Ali Khan, Ramya Krishna, and reportedly Chaitra Rai, although official confirmation is pending.
Under the banners of Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, “Devara” boasts musical compositions by the acclaimed Anirudh Ravichander and is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 5, 2024.
