Mumbai, October 27, 2025: Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 continues its strong theatrical run, collecting nearly ₹600 crore across India, even as its digital release date is officially announced. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 31, available in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. Despite its sustained box office momentum, the OTT launch has sparked mixed reactions from fans.

The film, a prequel to the 2022 hit Kantara, has crossed ₹800 crore globally, making it one of the most successful Indian films of the year.

Fourth Weekend Adds ₹25.5 Crore to Kantara’s Box Office

  • Day 1 Collection: ₹61.85 crore
  • Week 1 Total: ₹337 crore
  • Week 2: ₹147.85 crore
  • Week 3: ₹78.85 crore
  • Week 4 Weekend: ₹25.5 crore

The fourth weekend saw a notable rise in collections:

  • Day 23 (Friday): ₹6.1 crore
  • Day 24 (Saturday): ₹9 crore (47.54% increase)
  • Day 25 (Sunday): ₹10.4 crore (15.56% increase)

The Hindi version contributed ₹11.95 crore in the fourth weekend, while the original Kannada version added ₹8.2 crore.

Kantara Chapter 1 Streaming Soon in Four Languages

The film is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 31. It will be available in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
