Suriya, known for his intensity and on-screen charisma, delivers a dual-dose of thrill in the 75-second teaser of his forthcoming film that has already sent social media into overdrive. With Trisha Krishnan starring alongside him, Karuppu is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films of the year.
The teaser opens with a haunting voiceover, “This is not a calm god. It’s a god worshipped with red chillies.” That line sets the tone for what’s to come: a gritty tale of rage, justice, and split identities.
The upcoming high-octane drama directed by RJ Balaji, dropped today as a special treat for Suriya fans on the star’s birthday, and it’s nothing short of explosive.
Suriya appears in two contrasting avatars, one as a composed lawyer named Saravanan, clad in white, who coolly introduces himself with, “I go by another name too.” The other? A brooding, black-dressed figure wielding a sickle (aruval/koduval), oozing menace and mystery.
