The first look of Kate Winslet as a Na’vi leader Ronal, a powerful and a fearless leader has finally been released by Avatar: The Way of Water director James Cameron. She looks fearless and a bold leader.
Kate Winslet character in the sequel to 2009’s Avatar, has created lot of frenzy in social media and all over the internet. The movie is set to debut in cinemas at the end of the year.
Kate will star as Ronal, the co-leader of the Metkayina clan, in Avatar: The Way of Water, directed by Titanic’s James Cameron.
According to Winslet, Ronal is “deeply loyal and a fearless leader,” as the actress told Empire.
In an interview with Empire magazine, Kate Winslet described her personality as “very devoted and a bold leader.” She is powerful. A warrior, according to Variety.
Winslet will reunite with her Titanic director in this eagerly awaited sequel together with Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver.
Kate Winslet as Na’vi Warrior in Avatar is intense and powerful
Ronal, the Na’vi warrior, Kate with her big eyes and canine teeth, looks fiery. The makers have given Ronal a slightly different look compared to Avatar’s Neytiri (played by Zoe Saldana). Unlike the first Avatar film, Ronal’s eyes are blue instead of yellow and have tattoos along the body and face. In the small preview released in May, a glimpse of Kate was shown. However, there was nothing more revealed. Hence, her first appearance as Na’vi has now piqued everyone’s interest.
With Avatar: The Way of Water, Kate Winslet reunited with James Cameron after 26 years. The two last worked together for the movie Titanic. For Avatar’s sequel, Kate had to learn how to free-dive and hold her breath for over seven minutes in order to pull off underwater scenes featured in the movie.
Directed by James Cameron, Avatar: The Way of Water stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, CCH Pounder, Curtis, Winslet, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang.
The film will be released in theaters on December 16, 2022. Fans will also get the chance to re-watch the first film in theaters on September 23, as announced earlier.
