Vikrant Rona, starring Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep in the lead role, made a good impression at the box office and followed with OTT success. Directed by Anup Bhandari, the Tamil version of the film will start streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar.
Previously, Disney+ Hotstar announced that Vikrant Rona’s Telugu version will be available to stream from September 16. It has now been revealed that the film will also be streaming in Tamil on the same OTT platform. Yesterday, Disney+ Hotstar Tamil tweeted about the same and wrote, “Vikrant Rona is streaming from September 16 on Disney plus Hotstar.”
Anup Bhandari wrote and directed the adventure mystery thriller movie Vikrant Rona. The movie was the third time actor Nirup Bhandari and his older brother, director Anup Bhandari, worked together. Additionally, it was Anup’s first time working with Kiccha Sudeep, a superstar. Along with Sudeep and Nirup, Neetha Ashok played the role of Aparna Ballal in Vikrant Rana’s film.
Vikrant Rona is an edge of the seat thriller
A little rural community called Kamarottu, which is encircled by dense jungles, is the setting for the Kannada movie. Its central theme is the terrifying fear that permeates the entire village as a result of the strange disappearances and subsequent deaths of young children. Vikrant Rona, portrayed by Kiccha Sudeep, a rookie inspector, is tasked with investigating the murder in the Kamarottu village in the midst of all of this. At the global box office, Vikrant Rona reportedly made a staggering Rs 210 crores.
The Kannada version of Vikrant Rona debuted on September 2 only on Zee5. Under the auspices of Shalini Artss, Jack and Shalini Manjunath produced the blockbuster movie. In addition to regional Indian languages like Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi, it was also made available in other languages like Arabic, German, Russian, Mandarin, and English.
