Actor Mahesh Babu’s father and Iconic Telugu Cinema’s actor Krishna, passed away due to a brain hemorrhage in the early hours of Tuesday at a Hyderabad hospital. He was 80 years old.
In the 1980s, Krishna rose to full superstardom. With the release of Ooriki Monagaadu in 1981, Krishna’s success persisted throughout the 1980s. Eenadu Mundhadugu, Kiraayi Kotigaadu, Adavi Simhaalu, Sakthi, and Prajaarajyam helped him rise to the top. Agniparvatham was another popular film.
Known as the true super star of Telugu cinema, Actor Producer Krishna had directed 16 films and produced several others apart from acting in successful movies. He founded Padmalaya Studios in 1970 having produced many Hindi films.
Supserstar Rajanikanth was among the first to offer condolences on his demise, he sahred that the demise of Krishna Garu is a great loss to the Telugu film industry. Krishna was being treated by a multi-disciplinary team of doctors following the cardiac arrest. The actor passed away at 4 am on Tuesday, hospital sources stated.
The actor whose full name is Ghattamnaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, was undergoing treatment at Continental Hospital in Hyderabad.
The doctors immediately performed a CPR, resuscitated him within 20 minutes and shifted him to the ICU for treatment & observation. As per the Doctors Health Bulletin On Monday evening G.Krishna health condition was critical and has been put on a ventilator
Soon after his death, tributes started pouring in. Directors and actors from the fraternity also expressed grief and expressed their condolences.
