Fashion designer and actress Masaba Gupta, who recently tied the knot with actor Satyadeep Mishra, has expressed gratitude to her parents, actress Neena Gupta and cricket legend Vivian Richards, as well as her stepfather, chartered accountant Vivek Mehra, in a series of Instagram posts.
In the heartfelt messages, Masaba thanks Neena for raising her to be a “lioness,” praises Vivek for shaping her into the “kind-hearted businessperson” she is today, and expresses her gratitude to Vivian for passing down his strength and resilience. The blended family, which also includes Masaba’s husband Satyadeep, has come together to celebrate their love and unity.

Fashion designer Masaba Gupta recently shared a series of pictures on her Instagram account, featuring various members of her family. In the first post, she shared a beautiful image of her mother, Neena Gupta, who was seen smiling while sitting on a chair. Neena was wearing a green and cream-colored saree and a full-sleeved top that complemented her attire. Masaba captioned the image, “very delightful. I’d want to thank @neena gupta for raising me to be a LIONESS.”
In another post, Masaba Gupta shared a picture of her stepfather, Vivek Mehra, who was dressed in a yellow kurta, jacket, white pyjamas, and black mojaris. He was seen grinning in the photo as he posed for it. Masaba Gupta captioned the image, “All thanks to this man, I am the kind-hearted businessperson you see. The most kind heart and the kindest mind (yellow heart emoji)”.
The final image shared by Masaba featured her biological father, Vivian Richards. He was seen smiling and posing for the camera, wearing denims and a yellow and cream shirt. Masaba captioned the image, “Chico, the eyes are truthful. I’m very grateful that I inherited not just your nose but also your shoulders from my strong father so that I may face the world and triumph as you did.”
Masaba recently got married to Satyadeep Misra in a private ceremony in front of close relatives. She shared a few pictures on her Instagram account and captioned them, “I’m very excited. Wed this morning, my ocean of peace. Here’s to several lifetimes of love, harmony, stability, and, most importantly, humour. I appreciate you letting me choose the caption as well; it will be fantastic!”
In another post, Masaba shared a picture of her blended family, including Neena, Vivian, and Satyadeep. She captioned the image, “My entire existence finally made sense for the first time. We are this amazing blended family I have. Everything after this is just a bonus.” Neena and Vivian had a romantic relationship, and Neena raised Masaba on her own after giving birth to her on November 2, 1988. Neena and Vivek Mehra got married in 2008.
Masaba and Satyadeep have collaborated on the Netflix web series, “Masaba Masaba,” which marked Masaba’s first acting role. Satyadeep is well-known for his work in Hindi films such as “Bombay Velvet,” “No One Killed Jessica,” and “Vikram Vedha.”
It is worth mentioning that Masaba was previously married to producer Madhu Mantena, but the couple got divorced in 2019 after getting married in June 2015. Similarly, Satyadeep was previously married to actor Aditi Rao Hydari, but they got divorced in 2013.
