Mason Greenwood, a Manchester United midfielder, has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons after his girlfriend Harriet Robson accused him of sexual assault and physical violence. The 20-year-old is a key member of Manchester United’s current squad and is widely regarded as one of the club’s future superstars.
After being accused of assaulting his fiancée, the young English striker Mason Greenwood has found himself in hot water. Robson’s bruises were photographed and posted to her official Instagram account. She also posted a video in her story where blood can be seen dripping out of her injured lips.
Mason Greenwood Fiancée Accuses him for Sexual Violence
The photos have gone viral on social media, with Manchester United fans uniting to criticise the player. Robson’s Instagram account was deactivated when she exposed Greenwood, but the photos were widely shared on social media.
The social media is on fire after the news broke out. A twitter user wrote Anybody who defends Greenwood is a curse to the society. It’s because you lot overhype these kids that they think they’re some untouchable gods that they can treat people like shit 🤷🏻♂️ this guy is a disgrace & should never wear the club’s shirt again
Robson also released an audio clip, allegedly of Mason Greenwood, where the Manchester United footballer can be heard forcing her to have sex with him. The sensational allegations against Greenwood have sent shockwaves across the football fraternity.
As these accusations took fans by the storm, Manchester United also released a statement saying, “We are aware of images and allegations circulating on social media. We will not make any further comment until the facts have been established. Manchester United does not condone violence of any kind.”
So far, Greenwood has not publicly addressed these accusations against him.
