Olympian Neeraj Chopra, believes that Dancers and Athletes are equal, in many ways, specially the amount of hard work and grit they put into the art. Neeraj who created history as India’s first track and field gold medalist, is scheduled to feature on the dance reality show ‘Dance + Season 6‘.
During his talk with host Raghav Juyal, he draws a parallel between athletes and dancers, stating that both put in a great deal of effort to achieve perfection.

“While dancing isn’t my strong suit, I had a wonderful and unforgettable experience on set,” he explained. Everyone on the show was quite friendly and welcoming to me, and they made me feel at ease. It was incredible to witness the incredible talent on display, and some of the acts left me speechless. Dancers and athletes are comparable in many respects because they put in many hours of practice to be prepared to deliver when it matters most.” Neeraj Chopra continued to talk about his time on the sets.
“It felt fantastic to be there among all these talented dancers, everyone of them is remarkable in their own way,” he continued. There were some amusing moments, such as when Raghav summoned me to the stage and we did the’most searched questions about me’ segment. The nicest part of the experience was seeing everyone on set work together, and I wish them all the best in the future.”
The dancing reality show ‘Dance+ Season 6′ features Shakti Mohan, Punit J Pathak, and Salman Yusuff Khan as captains of separate teams of participants. On the show, choreographer Remo D’ Souza is dubbed the “super judge.”
