This movie is about this young girl Gunjan who believed and trusted her father to realize her dream, the dream to become a pilot. The dialogue in the trailer reveals the intensity and the determination of the young girl, who believes “Whether it is a man or woman flying the plane, both are called pilots.”
Gunjan Saxena also became the first girl to fly into a war zone as a pilot of Cheetah Helicopter during the kargil war.
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is directed by Sharan Sharma and features Janhvi Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi and Manav Vij as lead characters. Other popular actors who were roped in for Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl are Vicky Ahuja, Maneesh Verma, Riva Arora and Viineet Kumar.
