Prayers for ‘FAVORITE’ Irrfan Khan to be back doing all the things he loves

The Favorite, Angrezi Medium, popular actor Irrfan Khan, who was diagnosed with a rare form of  neuroendocrine tumour, a rare form of cancer 2 years ago, reportedly got admitted to the intensive care unit of a mumbai city hospital with a colon infection, his spokesperson stated.

In a heartbreaking moment, the actor lost his 53-year-old, mother Saeeda Begum in Jaipur few days ago. The actor who is at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, could not attend his mother’s funeral because of the nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of coronavirus.

‘Yes, it is true that Irrfan Khan is admitted to ICU at Kokilaben in Mumbai because of a
colon infection. We would keep everyone updated. He is under doctor’s observation,’ his
spokesperson said in a statement as rumours about the actor’s ill health.

The actor on the work front completed his movie Angrezi Medium which released just few days before the COVID outbreak, opened well but as the theaters begin to shut down, the movie took a hit. Infact, the actor could not attend the promotion of the film as he was on a recovery mode.

This news comes as a surprise news, as we have been eagerly awaiting the actor to announce new projects and get back to things he loves the most. Acting and entertaining.

In an earlier interview the actor said when he was undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine tumour, Sutapa was with him 24/7. “She has evolved in care-giving and if I get to live, I want to live for her. She is the reason for me to keep at it still,” the actor was quoted as saying.
