T Series which brought the rights for Hindi Remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramlo have announced the cast and crew for the Hindi remake minus the music composer, which many expected will be Thaman. And, then for Prabhas next big film “Radhe Shyam” . What’s missing is again is who will be music composer for the film. Will it be Prabhas favorite Thaman or not?
Radhe Shyam first look has taken the internet by storm, as fans are jubilant to watch their screen idol light up the fire. Released on July 10, has taken social media by storm and set a record. It was tweeted around 6.3 million times in 24 hours, proving that ‘Prabhas’ is a universal star.
Who will be the music director for Radhe Shyam ?
Though in an earlier development the music was to be composed by Amit Trivedi it came to light that he will not be doing the project.
Subsequently, Thaman name popped up, the music director who gained huge popularity for his music composition in the film ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’. But then, bollywood industry is a different ball game altogether and things change like a pendulum . T-Series which bought the film’s Hindi rights for Alu Arjun movie for a whopping Rs 125 crore continue to follow a different pattern for their films, by roping in multiple music composers for their films.
For Radhe Shyam too, T Series which had followed the same methodology for “Saaho” and is said to be insisting the same for Prabhas 20.
But what is working in favor or Thaman is Baahubali, Sahoo actor Prabhas and UV Creations are heavily inclined towards Thaman due to his grasp of Telugu music trends well. Though the music of “Saaho” clicked with the Hindi audiences but it didn’t work out in Telugu.
Will it be Thaman or will it be not Thaman for Prabhas Radhe Shyam?
Caught in this entangle between T Series, Prabhas, UV Creations, Thaman’s anxiety to know the final answer from the makers is rising. For Thaman it will be yet another big opportunity to score for a Prabhas film ‘Radhe Shyam’.
Radhe Shyam, directed by ‘Jil’ Radha Krishna Kumar, is a romantic-drama that features Prabhas in a new avatar. The movie has a reincarnation theme and highlights that true love never dies, the movie was previously referred to as Prabhas 20. Actress Pooja Hegde will be the leading lady in the film, she is making her debut appearance with the Sahoo star.
Radhe Shyam is slated for 2021 release. On the work front Prabhas 21 will be a film with Mahanati director Nag Ashwin.
