Rajkummar Rao’s HIT: The First Case now has a release date! The film is the official Hindi remake of the Telugu mystery action thriller of the same name. It is a heartwarming story about a cop who is on the hunt for a missing girl.
The Telugu film chronicled the story of a cop (Vishwak Sen) who is on a mission to find out where a missing woman is while also dealing with his traumatic history and panic attacks.
The Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra film HIT will now be released on July 15 instead of May 20.
This change is believed to avoid a collision with Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad.
HIT is a remake of a Telugu film from 2020, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, who also directed the Hindi remake.
Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni are funding the project. The cinematography is led by S Manikandan.

“It’s an engaging story, pertinent in today’s environment,” Rao had previously said of the remake.
Meanwhile, on the work front, after the 2021 horror-comedy film, “Roohi,” Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor are back together for “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi,” produced by Karan Johar and directed by Sharan Sharma.
The film revolves around cricket, and the actor will play the character of Mahendra, while Janhvi will play the role of Mahima. Apart from “Bheed” with Bhumi Pednekar, she also has an OTT film “Monica, Oh My Darling”, starring Huma Qureshi, Radhika Apte, and Radhika Madan in key roles.
