Rakul Preet in Drug Web: The Narcotic Division Investigation Angle concerning the death of Sushant Singh Rajput death case has taken a new turn with the emergence of drug angle from Rhea Chakraborty’s deleted WhatsApp chats. We hope Rakul will be making her statement soon about this revelation.
The Narcotics Control Bureau which began investigation, arrested Rhea, along with her brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant’s house manager Dipesh Sawant and a few drug peddlers in connection with the drug angle linked to Sushant’s death.
The sources have claimed that Rhea Chakraborty during her interrogation has specifically named the above-mentioned individuals who consumed narcotics substance. They have also said that initially, Rhea refused that she consumed drugs, but later confessed to taking drugs.

In the fresh development in the drug-related angle, Zee News has learnt that Rhea Chakraborty has reportedly confessed before the central probe agency that actress Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet, designer Simone Khambatta, Sushant’s friend and former manager Rohini Iyer and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra consumed narcotics substance.
Some time ago Kajal Aggarwal’s manager was arrested for possession of drugs which sent shockwaves across Tollywood. Actors were at a loss for words, and didn’t know how to react to this as “their manager” is supposedly the one person who they trust immensely to handle their profession.
Rakul Preet Singh at that time when the news broke had said she’s scared now. “I am in London for my film’s shooting, I don’t know the exact story. But when a manager or a friend or anybody you know personally is accused of doing something wrong, it’s scary,” says Rakul.
Coming back to the Rhea revelations, according to reports, Rhea in her confession told NCB that Sara had accompanied Sushant Singh Rajput and other friends to Thailand. It is to be noted that Rhea, while speaking to a news channel, had stated that Sushant used to live his life like a king-size and had spent Rs 70 lakh on an all-‘boys’ trip to Thailand. Earlier this month, Sushant’s friend Samuel Haokip had claimed that Sushant and Sara were in love with each other during the ‘Kedarnath’ shoot.
Rhea told the agency that 80 per cent of Bollywood stars are on drugs. There are also reports that NCB is set to summon 25 prominent Bollywood stars in the drug investigations. Rhea, in her statement to NCB, had reportedly accepted her role in procuring drugs for Sushant and also handling the finances.
Sushant was found dead in his home in Mumbai on June 14. At that time, Mumbai Police had concluded it was a case of suicide and investigated reasons that might have caused Sushant to end his life. His death is being investigated by CBI, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Enforcement Directorate (ED).
Meanwhile Rakul Preet flew down to Mumbai recently to shoot for her cross-border love story with Arjun Kapoor, when the actress learnt that the actor had tested positive for Covid-19. The shoot, scheduled from September 7 to 14, had been cancelled.
