September 14, 2026: Ravi Teja’s latest outing, ‘Irumudi’, is now ready to make the jump from the big screen to OTT. The Shiva Nirvana directorial, which opened in theatres on August 21, has secured a digital release on Netflix following an impressive theatrical run. The film will premiere on September 18, giving audiences who missed its theatrical release another chance to watch the emotional father-daughter drama from home.

Netflix confirmed the streaming date on Monday, announcing that ‘Irumudi’ will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The multilingual release is expected to give the Ravi Teja starrer a wider audience across India.

The story revolves around Trinadh, played by Ravi Teja, a troubled alcoholic whose relationship with his young daughter Manikanta becomes the emotional heart of the film.

Determined to change his life for his daughter, Trinadh takes up the Ayyappa Deeksha, a spiritual vow that requires him to stay away from alcohol, violence and other vices. But his resolve is put to the test when circumstances in his village push him into situations where protecting others becomes unavoidable.

The film balances family emotion with conflict, focusing heavily on Trinadh’s struggle to keep his promise while confronting the problems around him. Ravi Teja’s performance has been one of the talking points of the film, particularly in its more emotionally charged sequences.

Baby Nakshatra plays Manikanta, while Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sai Kumar, Sunil, Ramesh Indira and Swasika Vijay are also part of the cast. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the film’s music.
