Pls support n stand by his family n fans as the loss of a loved one is extremely painful,” he wrote.

Since the passing away of Kai Po Che actor Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14th , a series of Hashtags such as #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput, #BoycottSalmanKhan, #BoycottStarKids and #BoycottBollywood have been trending on social media since Sushant’s death. Social media backlash against Salman had started when he had expressed his condolences upon the news of Sushant’s demise.

Salman’s tweet also came on the same day three stars, known to be close to him, quit Twitter. His former co-stars Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem and brother-in-law Aayush Sharma left the microblogging site to distance themselves from its ‘negativity.’

‘The first step to protecting your sanity is to stay away from negativity. And no where more of that than Twitter these days! Chalo, I’m off – deactivating my account. Bye guys, peace out,” Sonakshi had written.

Saquib wrote “When we met for the first time, you were lovely. A great platform to express feelings, gather knowledge and understand many different points of view. But, of late you seem to have gotten lost in all the hate everyone is so ready to throw at each other, a place full of bullies, a place where abusing people is a normal code of conduct.”

Meanwhile Mumbai Police confirmed Sushant’s death by suicide and stated further investigations are going on. The debate around Sushant Singh give room for many allegations and stories which included that the actor was being isolated by influential people in the industry as he was an outsider.

Police so far have recorded the statements of 14 persons and an inquiry is ongoing. An official added that the department has spoken to Rajput’s father, his two sisters, his friend and creative manager Siddharth Pithani, manager Sandeep Sawant, friend and actor Mahesh Shetty, casting director Mukesh Chabbra, business manager Shruti Modi, public relations manager Ankita Tehlani, actor Rhea Chakraborty, a key maker and two house staff.
