The dazzling lights of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa showcased Shah Rukh Khan’s signature pose, courtesy of a fleet of drones, during a grand projection of his upcoming movie “Dunki” on Tuesday.
Sporting a striking red leather jacket, the Bollywood icon, known for his charismatic persona, observed the spectacle from a boat on a nearby lake. In a moment of pure fan delight, he recreated his iconic pose, much to the excitement of the fans thronging the embankment. The Rajkumar Hirani-directed comedy drama is set for release on December 21.
Pooja Dadlani, Shah Rukh’s manager, shared the enthralling video on X, expressing sheer admiration for the stunning drone show. She highlighted that “Dunki,” slated as Shah Rukh’s Christmas release, encapsulates the essence of “festivities and celebrations.”

“Dunki & @iamsrk lighting up the skies in Dubai!!! A marvellous drone show organised near the Burj Khalifa for the first time ever to celebrate a film and of course… a very special person and an extremely special film!” she enthused on the microblogging platform.
Accompanied by the soundtrack of the “Dunki” song “Lutt Putt Gaya,” the drones intricately fashioned the patterns of Shah Rukh, Hirani, and Gauri Khan’s names in the sky. The dazzling show culminated with an airplane pattern, followed by a reminder of the film’s release date.
“Dunki,” marking the inaugural collaboration between Hirani and Shah Rukh, features a stellar cast including Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover. The movie, penned by Abhijat Joshi, Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon, holds promise for an engaging cinematic experience.
