Bhumi Pardesi (Aaditi Pohankar), who plays the role of woman head constable transforms herself from a simple woman who supports her lower middle-class family living in a Parel chawl to a self-assured seductress who sheds her inhibitions and decides to go undercover to nab an elusive drug lord.
Jason Fernandez (Vishwas Kini), enrols Bhumi to his crack team, a woman who has desire to prove her worth all the time. Then, she uses her sexuality as a tool to bust a cartel that is out to turn Mumbai into Asia’s drug capital.
The story of SHE is of a woman who lives with her ailing mother, her rebellious sister, an estranged husband and her colleagues who look down on a woman in uniform and male superiors who regard her as someone who can be exploited to accomplish their mission.
Bhumi against her own then turns into a decoy prostitute, as part of a plot to nab the drug lord. The trap that she lets herself takes very unexpected turns and twists and there comes a point that she garners strength to do anything, come what may.
Sasya, (Vijay Varma ) thanks to Bhumi, falls into her trap laid by the police, as he gets caught talking dirty, a man who boasts about his sexual prowess, and wants to overpower woman with his might, soon he is in the custody of police.
While the title of the series is, SHE, she is never in power or command, she has virtually no power and always led by her bosses. Her boss Fernandez and DCP Shishir Mathur (Paritosh Sand) always call the shots. He preps her for one final ploy and master plan to nab Nayak (Kishore Kumar G) , the elusive drug lord who slips away from the police in an earlier operation.
Bhumi as a character is never in control of her existence as a cop, and constantly fights her emotions and mind that she beautiful and she has the prowess to achieve what she wants.
While the director has done his very best to establish the premise of the story, he loses control, and then in the end, he again leaves his protagonist jumbled and confused. And, in the end she begins to believe only on her own impulses. Will the cops succeed in catching Nayak?
